Cadillac has built a limited Escalade-V tribute to its Formula 1 driver, and American collectors can't have it. The Escalade-V Checo Perez Edition was unveiled on October 19, 2026, with availability at Mexican dealers from October 20 in a run of 11 vehicles for Sergio Perez's racing number.
The price arrives at 4,099,000 Mexican pesos, roughly $222,500. Every unit carries a numbered plaque signed by Perez, and the run stays exclusive to Mexico with no allocation planned for US buyers.

Cadillac didn't touch the mechanical side of the Escalade-V for this tribute. The SUV keeps its supercharged 6.2-liter V8, good for 682 horsepower and 653 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic and all-wheel drive. The 0-60 mph time of 4.4-seconds remains the same.
That drivetrain is shared with the standard Escalade-V. Nothing under the hood separates Perez's edition from the vehicle already on sale.
Cadillac also kept the V-Series underpinnings intact with an active-valve exhaust, six-piston Brembo front brakes, an electronic limited-slip differential, Air Adaptive Ride Suspension, Magnetic Ride Control, and V-Mode.
The Checo Perez Edition is configured with the V-Sport package that adds executive second-row seats with heating, ventilation, massage, folding trays and a rear command center. Front seats also gain heating, ventilation and massage, backed by extensive active safety tech and two years of OnStar Premium with unlimited data.
Cadillac offers a mix of exterior configurations in white and black with contrasting interior tones that echo the colors it runs in its Formula 1 program. Each of the 11 trucks is spoken for inside Mexico, and Cadillac hasn't suggested a second run or a US version is coming.
The signature touch is literal. Two numbered plaques, running 1/11 through 11/11, reproduce Perez's own signature and sit on the B-pillar and center console.
What do you think?
Everywhere else, the changes are cosmetic. Cadillac blacked out the Escalade and V-Series badges, switched to monochrome Cadillac logos, fitted a carbon-fiber engine cover that stays visible instead of hidden, added sport pedals, and programmed the mirrors to project V-Series graphics onto the pavement. Buyers also get an exclusive welcome kit.
Cadillac's Formula 1 approach can also be found on other V-Series editions such as the CT5-V Blackwing F1 Collector Series. It features an upgraded supercharger, six-speed manual transmission, and performance suspension as well as other F1 branding placed throughout the vehicle.
