Acura RDX
The Acura RDX temporarily calls it quits after 2026. Not to worry, though, a new RDX is in the works. The next-generation RDX is expected to enter the market as a 2028 model, meaning the compact crossover SUV's hiatus ought to last just one model year.

BMW 8-Series
Though BMW calls it quits on the current 8-series after the 2026 model year, the automaker is sure to resurrect the 8-series name in the coming years. Whether a future 8-series retains the coupe, convertible, and sedan (or Gran Coupe in BMW parlance) body styles of today's model is something that only time will tell.

BMW iX
The BMW iX may have never been much of a looker (though it did get a lot less homely for 2026), but it was a great battery-electric luxury SUV thanks to its ample driving range, comfortable ride, and lavish cabin. If that sounds like a compelling combination of character traits, then snap up an iX while you still can, because 2026 marks the last year for the model in the United States before BMW, ahem, pulls the plug.

BMW Z4
Consumers in the market for a new roadster have one less option to pick from come 2027, as the BMW Z4 finds itself sleeping with the fishes with the conclusion of the 2026 model year. As the replacement for the Z3, the Z4 spanned three generations and survived in BMW's line for more than two decades. Hopefully, BMW decides to re-enter the reasonably affordable roadster segment in the coming years.

Cadillac CT4
What the Cadillac CT4 lacks in rear seat space and premium interior materials, its chassis more than makes up for. Especially in 10Best-winning CT4-V Blackwing guise. Unlike the forgettable four-cylinder engines of its lesser CT4 kin, the Blackwing's 472-hp twin-turbo V-6 and engaging driving dynamics make it a truly memorable sports sedan. Alas, the entire CT4 line becomes little more than a memory come the start of the 2027 model year.

Cadillac CT5
The Cadillac CT5 is down but not out, as the model's set to make a comeback in the coming years. For now, though, Cadillac shows the mid-size sports sedan the door. Just how long it takes for the next-generation CT5 to arrive is a bit of an open question. It's probably safe to say we'll see the model's return before the decade ends, though. No matter, the bottom line is that the CT5 will not be a member of Cadillac's 2027 lineup.

Chevrolet BrightDrop
Though General Motors's support of the current-generation Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana vans extends more than three decades, the automaker is giving up on the battery-electric Chevrolet BrightDrop van after less than half a dozen years. Initially launched as its own brand, the BrightDrop van eventually began donning the bow-tie badge for the 2025 model year. Just two model years later, the BrightDrop finds itself on the wrong side of GM's guillotine.

Chrysler Voyager
Though the Chrysler Voyager dies at the end of the 2026 model year, its spirit lives on in the 2027 Chrysler Pacifica LX. Unlike the rest of the Pacifica line, which gets a reworked front end for 2027, the entry-level LX carries over the design cues of the Voyager (and 2017–2020 Pacifica) before it.

Ford Escape
Apparently, there's not enough room in Ford showrooms for two compact crossover SUVs. With the demise of the Escape for 2027, the Bronco Sport becomes the Blue Oval's lone competitor in the segment.

Lexus LC
Nearly a decade after it went on sale, the Lexus LC remains an absolutely stunning grand touring machine. Alas, 2026 marks the end of the line for the V-8 LC500 coupe and convertible (the gas-electric LC500h ceased production at the end of the 2025 model year). Expect the LC to go down in the annals of Lexus history alongside the likes of the IS F and LFA.

Lexus LS
Lexus calls it quits on the model that effectively made the Japanese luxury brand the juggernaut it is today. That's right, the LS flagship sedan is no more come 2027. With this, Lexus's sedan lineup dwindles to just two models: the small IS and the mid-size ES.

Mazda CX-70
Mazda tried to pull a fast one on us with the CX-70. Despite its distinct model name, the CX-70 was little more than a CX-90 sans a third row. The Japanese brand finally got the memo, though, and for 2027 the CX-70 nameplate bites the dust. However, fans of the CX-70 need not worry, because its spirit lives on in the 2027 CX-90 and its available two-row seating configuration.

Polestar 4
The Polestar 4 calls it quits after 2026. Like those seated within its cabin, there's no looking back. That's because the Polestar brand bites the dust. While the vehicle itself may find a home within Volvo's North American lineup, the odds of this seem slim. Still, anything's possible.

Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo and Sport Turismo
Good news. The Porsche Taycan gets a host of improvements for 2027. Bad news. The Taycan wagon (dubbed either Cross Turismo or Sport Turismo, the former being more off-road focused) fails to make it to the 2027 model year.
